Hedger Pro’s Biggest Update Yet: Full Automation Has Arrived
Seamlessly automate your betting systems, track performance, and stay ahead—before subscription prices go up.
Hedger Pro Version 1.6: Full Automation is Here
It may feel like Hedger Pro has been at Version 1.5 for years, but in just over a month, we’re already preparing to roll out Version 1.6, which includes full automation.
This week, I’ll demonstrate how automation works within Hedger Pro—giving you a complete walkthrough of setting up your betting systems from creation to full automation, including bet tracking.
How Automation Works
Automation will be integrated within the Portfolio section of Hedger Pro. Once you set your stake for each betting system and toggle the activation slider, your bets will be placed automatically. I’ll demonstrate this with my own small-stake test bets, showing real development progress so you can see exactly how it works.
Compared to other automated betting software, Hedger Pro provides a completely unique solution that simplifies the process while offering extensive filtering options. You can quickly create, automate, and track multiple betting systems, monitoring performance at a glance.
Simply put, no other software offers what Hedger Pro does.
Current Development & Release Timeline
Right now, we’re in the final stages of development—fine-tuning the system with feedback to ensure a seamless experience when automation launches. You will still have the option to schedule bets or continue using Betfair Bot Manager, but given the efficiency of Hedger Pro’s automation, I anticipate it will become the preferred choice.
Key Dates:
Beta Version 1.6 will likely be available this week or next, accessible via a dropdown in the account section.
Full Release Automation is expected within 2 to 4 weeks—most likely later this month.
Automation Will Be Free for Existing Members
If you’re already a subscriber, you’ll get access to automation at no extra cost—as long as you maintain your subscription. Your membership rate remains locked in, even if you upgrade.
However, if you cancel and return after Version 1.6 is live, you’ll be subject to the new, higher pricing.
Subscription Price Increase
With automation rolling out, subscription prices will increase by approximately 30% across all plans. While still priced competitively against alternatives, the current low rates won’t last.
If you’ve been waiting for automation before joining Hedger Pro, now is the time to lock in the current subscription price.

What Can & Can’t Be Automated?
While most betting systems can be automated, there are some exceptions—particularly those involving Hedge data and bet slip features. These cannot be automated because hedges execute instantly, and since Hedger Pro operates in the cloud rather than locally, certain bet types require manual execution.
That said, this can work in your favour. If you prefer a hands-on approach, race-to-race strategies using hedge betting can be highly effective. I’ll be sharing my own hedge betting strategies with a small group—details on this to follow.
The Importance of Personalizing Betting Systems
Hedger Pro provides 14 pre-configured betting systems you can use out of the box. However, betting systems work best when tailored to your own approach.
The more people placing the same bets, the more market impact you’ll see—affecting odds, profit, and drawdowns. That’s why I strongly recommend making small adjustments to your systems.
I’ll demonstrate this in upcoming content, showing how I tweak systems while keeping core strategies intact. I’ll also provide alternative system versions to assist with better market efficiency and minimize the impact of multiple users placing identical bets.
Managing Risk & High-Liability Bets
Some example systems involve high lay liabilities with fixed profit. While they show long-term profitability, they come with increased risk. If odds go above 100, for example, your liability can be substantial for a small profit.
It’s important to understand the difference between fixed liability and fixed profit staking, as well as the risks of high-odds lays. If many members place the same high-odds lay bets, drawdowns will naturally be higher.
You should factor this in when using these higher risk lay systems, and if it’s out of your comfort zone exclude them from your portfolio. You can use that stake to distribute across lower risk systems instead.
I’ll be adding additional system variations and examples of low-risk portfolio setups this month. My goal is to provide betting strategies that maintain strong performance without unnecessary risk.
Final Thoughts
Hedger Pro gives you the tools to take control of your betting—but with great power comes great responsibility. Understanding how to set up your portfolio is crucial to long-term success.
If you’re new to automation, don’t worry—I’ll be releasing a detailed video later this week covering setup, UI improvements, and best practices for risk management.
If you’re considering joining, now is the time. The current subscription rate won’t last once Version 1.6 is fully released.
