BFAL Project Update: V1.7 Progress & Performance Review
Refining the V1.7 build, scaling our liquidity, and a review of the recorded 55-point profit to date.
I wanted to give everyone a clear update on where we stand with the Betting For a Living (BFAL) project.
We are currently in the final stages of the Hedger Pro V1.7 update. This version is a major leap forward, featuring a total UI overhaul and powerful new system-building tools. Because the BFAL project is built on these new features, we’ve made the decision to hold the rollout until V1.7 is ready for everyone. It’s the right move to ensure the foundation is bulletproof before we go live.
The Roadmap to Launch
Once V1.7 drops, I will migrate our current BFAL lay system and run side-by-side comparisons to ensure it’s performing exactly as it does on V1.6. I’ll also be looking at where the new V1.7 features can give us a performance “bump.”
A key part of this setup is managing liquidity. I’m building out different “interval” versions to spread bets across various minutes to post. This ensures the market stays fresh and allows members to choose plans based on their own stake volumes—a vital step for the long-term longevity of the service.
Progress Update
We are currently in the refining and final bug-testing phase. Seeing dormant features in the pipeline finally fire into life has been a massive buzz. While I can’t give a definitive launch date until the final “clean sweep” is finished, I can confidently say we are getting very close. Nigel has truly pushed his developer skills to the limit to get this over the line, and the results are going to be worth the wait.
I planned to record a video walkthrough of the new V1.7 features this week, but Nigel has asked me to hold off. He’s currently fine-tuning the final interface, and since the layout will look even sharper by next week, I’d rather wait and show you the finished article than something that is already out of date.
Performance: 55 Points Banked
The V1.6 BFAL lay system has been running well in the background since August 2025.
Total Live Profit: £1,570.07 (scaling from £1 up to £30 stakes).
Point Performance: Approx. 55 points of profit to date.
Monthly Average: Holding steady at 5.7 to 6 points per month.
The Reality Check: While a steady 5.7 to 6-point average is a solid result so far, at £100 stakes, which as you can see from the graph has had some decent growth, and weathered drawdown periods.
This point average equates to between £570 and £600 per month betting £100 stake per bet. Which I know not everyone will want to commit to that level immediately, but that can be built up to over time.
While those returns certainly help with bills or a mortgage payment, they don’t yet reach the level the project name suggests. Our target for the BFAL Project is a net average of 17 points per month. At £100 stakes, that crosses the £20k+ per annum mark—and even at £50 stakes, a £10k return represents a substantial secondary income.
This current phase is our starting block. We are building the engine required to hit those higher targets and, more importantly, sustain them through robust, tailored portfolios. The goal has never changed: to create automated systems that make a genuine difference to your bottom line. By sharing my results and progress here, I’m laying the groundwork for members to eventually ‘bet for a living,’ or at least make a significant dent in life’s expenses.

Final Housekeeping
I’ll be updating the Portfolio Bet free and paid for system results over the weekend, and simplifying the website for better speed and clarity. I should have all this published no later than early next week.
