BFAL Project Update: Infrastructure Milestones & Performance Review
Hedger Pro V1.7 stress-testing updates, core system returns (+5.32 points), and platform consolidation plans.

An update on the Betting For a Living (BFAL) Project, covering our current performance metrics, development milestones for Hedger Pro V1.7, and a streamline of our digital platforms.
1. Software & Infrastructure: Hedger Pro V1.7
The foundational core of our Managed Account Service relies on the upcoming release of Hedger Pro V1.7. The upgraded bet engine and portfolio management architecture are strictly required to execute this service at scale.
Development Status: V1.7 is now mostly functional within our developer testing environment. We are currently fine-tuning a few remaining features before advancing to a live launch.
Back-End Admin: The administrative infrastructure for managed accounts is fully built. This setup allows me to construct bespoke portfolios, automate execution, manage staking parameters, adjust variables on the fly, and deliver precise P&L and performance analytics for each individual account.
While the development phase has extended past our original timeline, the resulting product is incomparable to our initial design. A workflow that previously would have required a week of manual implementation will now be executed in minutes—ensuring absolute accuracy across multiple portfolio scenarios. We are now in the final stress-testing period.
Rather than releasing a features walkthrough now, my priority is to finalize the build, launch the software to current members, and deliver a comprehensive walkthrough immediately after.
2. Performance & Results: Core Lay System
Our core lay betting system has been live-tested since August 2025, scaling from £1 stakes up to our current £30 baseline.
Our last update on May 13th showed a profit of £1,570.07. Accounting for all data up to yesterday’s close, the balance increased by £159.45.

This performance remains strictly on target and aligns with the expected monthly average for this strategy.
A Note on Drawdown: As the performance graph illustrates, this system absorbs inevitable losing sequences to drive net positive variance over time. Long-term capital growth requires navigating these standard drawdown and breakeven periods.
The strategic objective remains exactly as outlined in my May 13th post: stacking multiple diversified strategies to generate a baseline target of circa £20k per annum, so there is still a lot of work to do.

3. Managed Account Capacity & Waiting List
To protect market liquidity for our initial cohort, we are not accepting new members at this stage.

4. Platform Consolidation: Mid-June Launch
To eliminate the inefficiencies of maintaining two separate sites, we are consolidating all services—including the Portfolio Bet systems, Exponential Bet, and also the In-Play Bet Club—into a single, streamlined domain.
This new platform will host all live results, content, and performance tracking without unnecessary fluff. With Hedger Pro V1.7 scheduled for release this month, I am targeting mid-to-late June for the launch of the new web domain.
With the release of V1.7 will come new free systems for members, and tutorials demonstrating how to get the most out of V1.7 with its plethora of new filtering and project creation features. This will be my ongoing mission to supply you constantly with new demonstration content that helps you use Hedger Pro as it’s intended, to make money from your horse racing betting using Betfair.
There is a lot to come as soon as the flood gates burst with V1.7. I am only quiet at the moment because I want to dedicate my time to getting this new version with you as quickly as possible.
